Valerite
Valerite is a silico-alumina refractory product, obtained by the calcination of natural refractory clay at very high temperatures. This product has a 46-48% alumina grog content, and provides an alternative to Cerametal, when high pyroscopic resistance is required. In the particular case of flours, the special treatment before calcination prolongs the life of the slip, as it is so pure.
