Plaster based construction elements

Plaster is commonly used as the base material (binder) for the manufacturing of prefabricated construction elements for interior walls, ceilings and plaster blocks. Formula proposes coarser grade plasters for this application, generally appreciated as the most economical solution. Additionally, Formula offers a range of uncalcined gypsum products suitable as additives to accelerate the setting process of plaster blocks.

• Plaster Blocks Structural wall blocks, are industrially produced building elements, made from plaster of Paris, for non-load-bearing components. The blocks may be simply and quickly mounted. The flat finished walls do not require plastering prior to being painted, papered or tiled.
  Plaster blocks may contain fibres, fillers and aggregates, and are coloured with pigments so they may be visually distinguished. Various types of blocks are manufactured: standard blocks, light blocks, heavy duty blocks and water repellent blocks. Formula’s plasters suited to this application offer optimal strength, fire protection and sound insulation properties.
  
• Plaster based adhesives
  Formula offers plasters as the base for adhesives used to fix construction elements made of plaster. To suit customer requirements, Formula particularly optimizes the particle size distribution to offer improved adhesion. The products also present controlled working and setting properties to allow time for mixing and application of the final product. In addition to their technical features, Formula’s plasters are safe and environmental friendly.
  
• Plasterboard adhesives Plaster-bonded adhesive compounds are a common solution for fixing plasterboard. Plasterboards or composite boards are fixed directly to solid walls (rough brickwork, concrete etc.) using plaster adhesive applied to the rear of the plasterboards in clots. This process is known as dry lining. Formula proposes a range of plasters (both finer and coarser grade) suitable for use in this application.
  
• Plaster block adhesives Plaster blocks are fixed together using adhesives which provide a smooth surface which is ready to decorate. Formula proposes the most suitable plasters offering whiteness and fineness, combined with good adhesion properties. For specific requirements regarding the mechanical properties of the adhesive, Formula can provide high strength plasters which can be used as additives to improve mechanical resistance.
  
• Adhesives for plaster mouldings Plaster-bonded adhesive compounds are suitable for fixing plaster mouldings and fibrous plasterwork elements (cornicing, coving). After mixing, the plaster adhesive is applied in spots to the back of the plaster moulding or plaster ornaments being fixed. The components are then pressed onto the surface using light pressure and lined up. Formula proposes the most suitable plasters offering whiteness and fineness, combined with good adhesion properties. For specific requirements regarding the mechanical properties of the adhesive, Formula can provide high strength plasters which can be used as additives to improve mechanical resistance.
