Escayola Ceramica L is a formulated hemihydrate plaster. This moulding plaster is used in slip casting in ceramics, especially for sanitaryware to produce working mould. This product is well adapated when a long setting time is needed to produce large scale working moulds.

The recommended plaster to water ratio is between 1.25:1 and 1.35:1, with a mixing time of approx. 2 to 4 minutes. The precise consistency to use will need to be adjusted to suit the individual application. Changes to plaster to water ratio will influence product performance particularly setting time, absorption and strength.
