TRADITIONAL
Traditional fibrous plaster uses a combinaton of plaster, hessian scrim and metal or timber.
The plaster provides the finished decorative face and the fibres are present to prevent cracking and breakages.
Saint-Gobain Formula offers traditional casting plasters and unique high strength casting plasters with setting times suitable for various work conditions.
GRG: GLASS REINFORCED GYPSUM
GRG (Glass Reinforced Gypsum) uses a combination of plaster, glass fibre matting / chopped strands and metal / timber.
Typically harder, stronger plasters are used, so that larger sections can be cast thinner to reduce the weight when compared to traditional fibrous plasterwork.
